Store Front The Canvasback offers a wide variety of classes for everyone from the beginner to the advance needlepoint artist. We will help you take your needlepoint skills to the next level.

Learn techniques that will enable you to continue to create wonderful needlepoint art work. Days and times vary depending upon the class. Check back often for any updates to our class offerings.

2012 WINTER CLASSES

Introduction to Needlepoint ($50 for the class)
This 2 1/2 hour class is for anyone who wants a quick and easy introduction to needlepoint.  It would also be a great refresher for anyone who hasn't stitched in a long time.  Topics covered are how to thread a needle, start and stop a thread, as well as how to do five easy stitches.  The cost includes all supplies and instruction.

Note: You must reserve your space a week prior to class to give us time to personalize the canvas with the initial of your choice.

Painted Ribbons ($125)
This fun piece for the advanced beginner is the perfect sequel to our Introduction to Needlepoint Class! You’ll learn 10 new stitches and use 17 different fibers.

Nova ($225)
This encore class is back by popular demand! Join us for three weeks of stitching Genny Morrow’s classic design. Nova is comprised of 396 colorful squares based on classic quilt fabrics. This is a challenging, yet fun, project that you will be proud to complete

Mother-Daughter Afternoon Out ($25 per person)
Sometimes the best times are the times spent working on a project together. This two-hour "class" is just that: a time for mothers and daughters to spend time working on a needlepoint project. What a great way to strengthen the mother-daughter relationship!
