Classes

The Canvasback offers a wide variety of classes for everyone from the beginner to the advance needlepoint artist. We will help you take your needlepoint skills to the next level.

Learn techniques that will enable you to continue to create wonderful needlepoint art work. Days and times vary depending upon the class. Check back often for any updates to our class offerings. Reservations required for all classes.

Summer 2009 Schedule

Embellishment ($30 Per Session)

Enjoy the genius of Linda Corirossi when you bring your own canvas to an embellishment class. Besides being a national teacher, Linda is the author of three books. The class will guide you to the right stitch and fiber combination. Let Linda help you create a materpiece!

Beginner Class ($125 for the Class)

Mary Jo's Class is a wonderful way to learn or to increase your knowledge about needlepoint. It is a 6 week class that teaches all the basics as well as many different stitches. Come join the fun. The cost includes the instructions, fibers and the canvas.

Tic Tac Toe Sampler ($90) for the Class

This follow up to the beginner class will explore variegated threads and 8 new stitches. Several colorways are available besides the one pictured here. It makes a perfect box top or small pillow.
