Store Front The Canvasback offers a wide variety of classes for everyone from the beginner to the advance needlepoint artist. We will help you take your needlepoint skills to the next level.

Learn techniques that will enable you to continue to create wonderful needlepoint art work. Days and times vary depending upon the class. Check back often for any updates to our class offerings. Reservations required for all classes.

Sprint 2008 Schedule

Creative Stitching with Deborah Wilson ($35 per session)
Bring one of your canvases to class and have a great time as you try new stitches, new fibers, new ways to approach your project. Deborah's teaching specialties include creative approaches to hand-painted needlepoint, traditional and contemporary goldwork, silk ribbon manipulation and stumpwork. Suitable for all levels.

Embellishment ($25 per session)
Enjoy the genius of Linda Corirossi when you bring your own canvas to an embellishment class. Besides being a national teacher, Linda is the author of three books. The class will guide you to the right stitch and fiber combination. Let Linda help you create a materpiece! Classes start May 5.

Reflection of Joy ($130)
Tina's class is a great opportunity for the more advanced stitcher to work on a very fun and challenging piece. The colors used in this design are joyful and will make you smile

Beginner Class ($125 for the class)
Mary Jo's Class is a wonderful way to learn or to increase your knowledge about needlepoint. It is a 6 week class that teaches all the basics as well as many different stitches. Come join the fun. The cost includes the instructions, fibers and the canvas.

Kathy Schenkel's Irish Santa($125 for the class)
Our favorite red-headed Irish stitcher, Jane Brennan O'Lipton will be teaching this delightful Santa. She'll bring her considerable stitching experience and a touch of blarney to make it extra fun.

Lilac Collage ($70 for the class)
Think Spring! with the second in the series from Laura Perrins' Secret Garden collection. You can almost smell the lilacs as you stitch this beautiful collage of ribbons with a floral center. What a lovely project to keep you busy while you wait for the real thing to bloom in your garden.

Hot Stuff ($125 for the class)
Take your stitching to the next level with the challenges of "Hot Stuff" from DebBee's Designs. You can stitch it in the original spicy palette of reds, corals and oranges on red canvas or a coll palette of lilacs, blues, and greens on lilac canvas.
